Profile of Pops in the Paper
Today I saw Pops on the front page of the Sunday paper. Pops likes "horsing" around when he's not on the campaign trail. I think you will like reading about Pops' long heritage of public service HERE.

Pops Loves Football Fans
Last Friday night we went campaigning at a big football game between Trinity and St. X. We got to see football, tell people about Pops, and spend time with Pops and Nana - all "three in one" evening.
There were so many people going to the game that we got "stuck up" in traffic.

Pops Loves Dizzy Whizz
Here's another Louisville Original. You definitely have to size up the Whizzburger before taking a bite. Sadly, they didn't have happy meals. But when Pops gets elected Mayor, every meal will be a happy meal!
We have less than one month until Pops' election day. And he's got a "dizzying" schedule of events between now and November 2. Can you sacrifice the price of a Whizzburger and help Pops whizz to victory?

Pops Loves Democrats...
And Democrats love Pops. Yesterday, three Democrats stood with Pops to show their support. And these weren't just any Democrats. They are all former Mayoral candidates. Pops is going to represent and listen to ALL Louisvillians. Here's Ms. Lisa Moxley endorsing Pops.
Here's Pops talking. Do you notice those 4 red lights in the background? They're all synchronized. Thanks Pops.

Pops Wants ALL Kids to Get the Best Education
Here's Pops on the news "educating" the public on his position, "My goals in education are not to eliminate diversity. My goal is to eliminate the failing schools in the Jefferson County School System." And you can also watch here. Please encourage your friends to vote for Pops for Mayor!

Pops Loves the Bellarmine Irish Fest
"Irish" we could go to this festival every weekend. Putting it on was definitely no small potatoes. Pops is building bridges with every neighborhood, network and niche to ensure they won't have to get "lucky" to get a listen.
Have you figured out that I love live music? Honestly, I was a little surprised we didn't see the Green candidate.

Pops Loves the Butchertown German Fest
Here's a secret..."Accordion" to Pops, he knows how to play this instrument. I saw it sitting next to Hans Sander who was playing some great German music on Saturday night.
Daddy said he was so happy to spend his evening with the boys and the "brats".
This is all very "germane" as to why you should vote for Pops!

Today we walked over a long bridge above the river. That is a big river. Anyhow, we met lots of Pops for Mayor supporters. Mama and daddy said we walked in honor of sick people. You can honor them, too, HERE.

Pops Won't "Muddy" the Issues
This is my brother. I thought I was the only one who knew how to sling mud. Apparently, Pops' opponent is good at mudslinging, too. Mama says, in our family, mud-covered boys are more appealing to her than mud-slinging boys.

Pops Loves the Gaslight Festival
Tonight Pops had a "gas" as he shook hands with thousands of men and women along the Gaslight Parade route. Did you know that Pops always walks in parades so as to cut carbon emissions? On the other hand, I always stroll. Do you recognize any of the spectators?
Every politician wants to be in this parade because it's the 5th largest festival in Kentucky. But they only let people with elected experience in the parade, so we carried Pops' Metro Council banner. Fortunately, I had some chicken nuggets nearby so I didn't run out of gas by the end but we nearly ran out of "light".

Pops Loves Guitars
On Sunday, when we rode the bus to downtown, we ate at the guitar restaurant. I had lots of "stringy" fries. The guitar restaurant struck a "chord" with me because a few weeks ago I got a new Pops-for-Mayor-blue guitar! My first guitar broke.
I love strumming the guitar with my pick. I hope Louisville "picks" Pops for Mayor.
This makes me think...do you know Pops' favorite song?

The #21 bus goes past my house everyday. Today, I finally got to ride it. Pops and Nana and the whole crew rode downtown with me. Although it's not "fare", young guys like me get to ride free. Aunt Mya watched me get a "handle" on the experience.

Pops is on TV with two different commercials promoting transparency. As Mayor, Pops will "titan" up spending and end secret deals at Metro Hall.

Pops Loves the World
Yesterday, Pops and I went to WorldFest. I tried some of "Louie Villa's" italian ice as well as some Congolese fried plantains and chicken kabobs. Yummy! Pops was greeted by a diversity of supporters in many languages. Have you "czeched out" Pops' multicultural background?
My favorite part was the bagpipes and the parade. Mama says I have a nice set of "pipes." Wouldn't you just have "kilt" for this view?

Pops Loves Louisville Originality
This is a "sweet" place and definitely not to be ig"nord". Yes, you guessed it...Nord's - home of the maple bacon donut. Initially, I was faked out by the mural, then realized that what mattered was what was on the inside. Pops says the same thing about people.

Pops Loves the Belle of Louisville
The "icing" on the "cake" of going to the fair was seeing all of the food competitions. The only bummer was that they were in a glass case. When I saw this cake and learned that the Belle of Louisville was a boat, I got really confused because Pops always says he married the Belle of Louisville.

Pops Will Fight "Deflation"
We saw this balloon ocean at the fair. My favorite part was the blue balloons that reminded me of Pops for Mayor. Some of the balloons were starting to look droopy. Fortunately, even as the economy starts to slow again, Pops has a plan to fight "deflation".
We were going to pass out some campaign stuff. But the person who blew up all those balloons had already done it...pass out, that is.

Pops is Peachy
"Czech" this out. Pops' grandparents were Czechs. And they have a meal comprised entirely of peach dumplings. Usually mama and daddy call this dessert because we cover them with butter and cinnamon sugar. But once a year we have a big family gathering and eat these for dinner and pay tribute to Pops' heritage. Be sure to czech Pops' name when you vote.

Pops in Today's Woman
Pops was in the August issue of Today's Woman. I won't get into all the "hairy" details but suffice it to say Pops goes to a barbershop while his opponent goes to a stylist.
Click "View in full screen" below and page over to page 26. I will highlight some of his answers in future postings. Meanwhile, please note the name next to the number 3 in Pops' family description. This is big. How many thousands of women know I'm available now?

Pops is in "Poll" Position
Pops is tied with his opponent in a survey by the local newspaper and a TV station. Read more here. Pops says he's a surveyor, but I don't know how he had time to call 538 voters with all the campaigning he's doing.
Aunt Jenna Got Married!
Have you ever partied so hard you can't remember what happened when you wake up? I really know how to cut a rug (I learned from Pops). Anyhow, here I am after practicing for the election night celebration at Aunt Jenna's reception. By the way, Pops said he is running for Mayor to represent people of every "party."
